Year of the Goat

A Swedish occult-doom rock device with psychedelic tendencies, Year from the Goat’s unwavering trust at night arts and trippy, retro-metal/rock sound, which features a lot of spooky Mellotron and heavy Hammond organ, has drawn comparisons to rings like Pentagram, Dark Sabbath, Blue ?-yster Cult, and Ghost. Shaped in 2006 in the eastern town of Nörkopping, the Lucifer-loving rockers released their debut EP, Lucem Ferre, in 2011, accompanied by their Vehicle Records-issued full-length debut, Angel’s Necropolis, in 2013. The next year noticed the group printer ink a cope with Napalm Information, which would continue release a the band’s sophomore outing, Unspeakable, in 2015.
