Year Long Disaster

Acquiring their cues through the blues-rock and Southern rock and roll movements from the 1970s, Los Angeles-based Year Extended Disaster started with Daniel Davies, the group’s lead singer and guitarist. While fighting a medication habit in Apr 2003, he fulfilled Affluent Mullins, bassist and founding person in Karma to Burn off. Mullins was himself fighting craving — after departing Karma to Burn off to play using the Dallas, TX, music group Speedealer (and wishing the move would help him outrun his complications), he was kicked from the fresh group and visited Holland. Close friends there confident him to consider some recordings to market friends in LA; Mullins was just planning to remain in the town for per month when he fulfilled Davies. Both became fast close friends, and within per month of understanding one another, they both proceeded to go into rehab. Following a month of preliminary treatment and half a year inside a sober-living halfway home, the duo finished this program in Dec 2003. In November 2004, Davies and Mullins noticed drummer Brad Hargreaves playing a gig with Hours and Mins and asked him to a casual jam session, being unsure of how the percussionist was an associate of Third Attention Blind. Hargreaves decided to sign up for them — the trio bonded quickly and shaped Year Long Catastrophe soon afterward. After putting your signature on with Volcom Entertainment, the group’s self-titled debut recording premiered in Oct 2007. The music group followed up this year 2010 using the release of the second album, Dark Magic; All Mysteries Uncovered.
