Xysma

Finland’s enigmatic Xysma had been formed in the late ’80s by way of a colorfully named solid of music artists including Joanitor Lottoner (business lead vocals), Foreigner Lawny (vocals, guitars), Minister Stranius (guitars, keyboards), Gablo Heavenly (electric powered and straight basses), and Orvis Goodnight (drums). During the period of an extremely eccentric discography inaugurated by 1990’s Fata Morgana EP and its own instant full-length follow-up, 1991’s Yeah debut, the group offers tread way too many stylistic pathways to permit for easy pigeonholing. But following attempts like 1993’s 1st and Magical, 1995’s Deluxe, and especially 1996’s Lotto shown a definite, if still unorthodox alternate rock concentrate, with periodic detours into commercial music and sound rock aswell. 1998’s Singles chances and sods collection evidently served like a capper with their actions, but no recognized separation was ever announced.
