Xenia Rubinos is a difficult-to-classify songwriter, keyboardist, and jazz-styled chanteuse located in Brooklyn, NY. Elevated in Hartford, Connecticut in children with Puerto Rican and Cuban history, she sings in both British and Spanish. Rubinos analyzed voice in the Berklee University of Music in Boston, where she fulfilled drummer Marco Buccelli, who performed on her behalf debut recording, along with Adam Minkoff on bass. Arriving in 2013 via Ba Da Bing Information, Magic Trix shipped an inventive indie rock and roll bricolage of jazz, hip-hop, funk, Caribbean rhythms, and consumer electronics, and resulted in multiple tours over the U.S. and European countries. Her similarly ambitious follow-up, Dark Terry Cat, premiered by Anti- in 2016.
