Wyrd

Originally a project led simply by former Azaghal members Narqath (Tomi Kalliola) and Kalma that passed the moniker Hellkult, Wyrd certainly are a Finland-based thrash project that could ultimately morph into even more atmospheric, dark, and brooding black metal territory simply by their 2007 release, Kammen. As Hellkult, the group released three even more thrash-tinged demos from 1997-1998, but following the last of the, Of Pure Heathen Bloodstream, Kalma made a decision to contact it time, and Narqath re-imagined the task, dubbing it Wyrd. Getting gloomier and even more atmospheric sounds in to the combine, Narqath released some demos before securing a cope with the Millennium Steel label, and could see Wyrd’s formal debut record, Heathen, strike the roads in 2001. Huldrafolk implemented in 2002, and was the initial in some albums that could place a full-length by Wyrd in the shops one per year for another five years. In 2007, with drummer J.L. Nokturnal (who joined up with in 2005) dealing with percussion responsibility, Wyrd — today an integral part of the Avantgarde label family members — released these album amount seven, Kammen.
