Wyatt Easterling

Producer, record professional, songwriter, vocalist, and program musician Wyatt Easterling was raised in Chapel Hill, NC, and released his debut record, Both Sides from the Shoreline, on Moonlight Information (an imprint of Warner Bros.) in 1981. The record had not been a commercial achievement, but Easterling transferred to Nashville and started striving to create his method in the united states music business in any manner he could. While searching for another record offer, he proved helpful for song web publishers. In 1990, he became mind of A&R on the Nashville department of Atlantic Information. The same season, he sang on and added the tune “THIS TIME AROUND I’m Takin’ My Period” to Neal McCoy’s record CURRENTLY. (The tune was co-written with Bob Moulds. Like many Nashville songwriters, Easterling often collaborated on his music, his co-writers including Charlie Allen, Liz Barnez, Liz Byler, Jessi Colter Jennings, Rebecca Folsom, Don Goodman, Mike Graham, Porter Howell, Paul Jefferson, Deanna Jordan, Celeste Krenz, Nelson Larkin, Sonny LeMaire, John Marlin, John Scott Sherrill, Johnny Slate, Sharon Vaughn, Jeff Vice, Pam Wolfe, Drew Womack, and Easterling’s wife, Stacey Slate-Easterling.) In 1991, his tune “If the Jukebox Took Teardrops” became a high 40 country strike for Billy Joe Royal. Easterling offered as manufacturer and played classical guitar on John Michael Montgomery’s 1992 record Life’s a Dance, which reached the united states Best Five and proceeded to go triple platinum. Two of Easterling’s tunes, “Cover Me within your Like” and “All Due to a Baby Young man,” were presented on Joe Diffie’s 1995 recording Mr. Xmas, which reached the united states Best 40, and within weeks he also added the name monitor to Diffie’s Best 40, gold-selling recording Life’s So Funny. Easterling’s careers on the business enterprise side from the music business, notably at Bugle Posting Group and Firstars Administration, seem to possess occupied him in the past due ’90s and early 2000s. Ultimately, however, he started to go back to songwriting. Four of his tunes were presented on Hilljack’s 2004 recording Stand-Up, which he created, as well as the same 12 months he placed tunes on Pastor Ronald Williams’ Organic Thing, Drew Womack’s Drew Womack, and Brittany Wells’ Caring Every Minute from it. In 2005, he previously tunes on Derryl Perry’s All Merely to Reach You and Crystal clear Blue 22’s AT THIS TIME, but his ideal success for the entire year was his name melody for Dierks Bentley’s nation chart-topping, million-selling record PRESENT DAY Drifter. That melody was highlighted, along with “Life’s Therefore Funny” plus some brand-new originals, on his long-awaited second single record, Where This River Goes, released by Great Horse Records on, may 4, 2009.
