WSTR

WSTR had a swift rise within the burgeoning U.K. pop-punk picture that noticed them authorized to impartial American label No Rest Information before they’d actually performed their first display. Hailing from Liverpool, the music group, composed of Sammy Clifford on vocals, Alex Tobijanski on bass, and Kieren Alder and Danny Swift on acoustic guitar, cited American organizations like blink-182, Amount 41, and New Found out Glory as main influences. In Sept 2015 they released their 1st EP, SKRWD, via Simply no Rest, and embarked on the tour of both U.K. and European countries alongside fellow punks Creeper, Moose Bloodstream, and Throat Deep. WSTR received some criticism for his or her similarity towards the Wrexham music group and tourmates Throat Deep, but frontman Sammy Clifford dismissed parallels due to their camaraderie. In 2016 the music group released the initial single off their debut record. Lyrically, “Depressed Smiles” handles a break up, and Clifford confessed the fact that theme was the main preoccupation from the record. Crimson, Green or Inbetween premiered in January 2017.
