Writer’s Block

Producing their first appearance on Key-Kool & Rhettmatic’s 1995 album, Kozmonautz, around the song “Visionaries (Quit Actin’ Scary),” Writer’s Prevent, comprised of MCs Lord Zen and Dannu, soon became a member of the group, also known as the Visionaries, that surfaced from that session. They helped make 1998’s Galleries before they go about focusing on their 1st single like a duo, Essentially, which arrived the following 12 months. In 2000 another Writer’s Stop single, Poetry Clarifies, hit shelves, in addition to another Visionaries record, Sophomore Jinx. In 2001 another single, FORGET ABOUT No Less, showed up, and by this time around Zen and Dannu experienced established a faithful fan base within the underground rap picture in L.A. Nevertheless, it wasn’t until 2004 that their 1st album, ON THE WAY, which contained almost all their previously released A-sides and B-sides, premiered on Up Above, with Following Quit coming out the next year.
