Originally treated simply because an in-studio side project on her behalf Number Thirteen drummer Cord Amato (guitar/programming/vocals), Wow & Flutter didn’t take themselves that significantly until Amplified Recordings released what would become their first release, Guilty Pleasures, in 1998. Additionally motivated by the break up of Her Amount Thirteen, previous guitarist Weigh Dark brown joined up with Wow & Flutter alongside Jack port Houston (bass/electric guitar) and Michael Nelson (drums), completing the lineup. Ultimately playing throughout their Northwest indigenous of Portland, OR, the music group would get a number of evaluations to famous brands Sonic Youngsters and the ocean and Wedding cake before launching their second record, Pounding the Pavement, through Jealous Butcher Information in 2000. With another lineup alter that would start to see the departure of Dark brown and Nelson that same season, Donny Mishado (electric guitar/drums), Chris (electric guitar/farfisa) and Amy Turner (cello) finished the lineup alongside projectionist Joey Santana, who followed Wow and Flutter’s concert events. By 2001, Jealous Butcher implemented using the band’s third full-length, entitled Better Today After that.
