Wounded Lion

Playing brilliantly basic, off-kilter garage area pop comparable to the present day Lovers, Los Angeles’ Wounded Lion feature singer/guitarist Brad Eberhard, who’s also an excellent art painter and utilized to be a skill teacher; drummer Monty Buckles (also from the Lights); and Shant, Chris, Jun, and Raffi. Eberhard started recording music into GarageBand in 2008, the same season Wounded Lion debuted using the S-S one “Carol Cloud” b/w “Pony People”; the B-side was included in the Intelligence on the recording Fake Surfers. They came back using the Creatures in the Cave 7″ on Gilongo in ’09 2009, and relocated to In debt for that 12 months’s “Friendly?” solitary, which also presented addresses of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Poor Moon Increasing” and Crazy Man Fischer’s “Big Shoes.” Their self-titled full-length debut appeared about In debt this year 2010. Later on that 12 months, the music group released singles including Rest is My Niche, which made an appearance on Wounded Lion’s second recording, 2011’s IVXLCDM, also the first ever to feature Lars Finberg (the Cleverness, A-Frames, Thee Oh Views) on drums.
