Worriers

The Worriers certainly are a Brooklyn-based punk rock-band whose trim but muscular music is wrapped around songs that cope with the politics of lifestyle in a period of unrest and inequality. The Worriers had been formed by vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter Lauren Denitzio, who was simply previously an associate from the Measure and it is active being a visible musician and a released author. Launching their first one in-may 2011, Denitzio (who was simply acknowledged as Lauren Measure over the group’s first recordings) continues to be the sole continuous in the Worriers’ lineup, with Mikey Erg, Lou Hanman, John McLean, Rachel Rubino, and Audrey Zee Whitesides among Denitzio’s most typical collaborators. After launching singles through Yo-Yo no Idea, the Worriers teamed up with Don Giovanni Information for the seven-song EP Cruel Optimist in Oct 2013. In 2015, the Worriers came back using their most ambitious task to time: Imaginary Lifestyle, the band’s initial full-length record, with all music written exclusively by Denitzio, and made by Laura Jane Sophistication of Against Me! For Imaginary Lifestyle, the Worriers’ lineup included Denitzio on business lead vocals and electric guitar, guitarists Rachel Rubino and John McLean, bassist Audrey Zee Whitesides, and drummer Mike Yannich, with Lou Hanman guesting on support vocals.
