The ’90s power pop outfit Wonderboy contains members Robbie Rist (singer, guitar, keyboard), Pat McGrath (guitars, keyboards, vocals), Dave Brow (bass, vocals), and Paul “Wally” Presson (drums, percussion, vocals). Rist got his focus on the music group Paul Pope, who released a set of albums and toured, but ultimately lost the majority of its people. Rist made a decision to keep on, enlisting additional fellow LA music artists and changing the band’s name. The quartet released three produces for the Racer label through the middle- to past due ’90s: 1996’s Abbey Street to Wreck, a self-titled launch, plus 1997’s Napoleon Blown Aside.
