Wolves at the Gate

Cedarville, Ohio-based quintet Wolves on the Gate blend post-hardcore and metalcore with a solid Christian message. Their weighty technical design and solid Christian themes got them a cope with Teeth & Toenail imprint Solid Condition Records, house to similar-minded rings like Oh, Sleeper and Match for a Ruler. With new vocalist Nick Detty changing Colin Jones and Ben Millhouse on drums, they released their debut LP, Captors, in 2012, which debuted at quantity seven around the Billboard Christian Albums graph. They spent a lot of the following 12 months touring before settling directly into record their sophomore recording. As the staff shifted once more, Dylan Baxter overran the drum throne, cementing the lineup that could launch their second recording, VxV, in June 2014. Sept 2016 saw the discharge of a fresh single, “Flickering Fire,” in expectation of their third studio room long-player, Types and Shadows, which slipped afterwards that November.
