The Wolfkin duo blends ’70s psychedelia and raw ’60s garage with contemporary drum loops and samples and sardonic slacker sensibilities, combining attitudes and musicality of old times with the brand new. A comradery between people Kristian Godtfredsen and Lars Vognstrup created while surviving in exactly the same co-op in Copenhagen. Both people distributed a musical history — Godtfredsen lower his tooth in Sleeping Real estate agents, and Vognstrup got played in Cash Your Like previously. One night time at their home, Lars overheard Kristian strumming acoustic guitar from straight down the hall and both combined up and documented “7th Heaven.” After developing a number of additional songs, Godtfredsen remaining to tour like a support musician for Junior Mature and played among Wolfkin’s demo music, “COMPLETELY NEW Slacks,” for the children within the tour bus. Used by the music, short-term Junior Mature drummer Jesper Reginal provided the duo an archive offer on his label Crunchy Frog. After placing the finishing details on COMPLETELY NEW Pants, the record premiered on various schedules in different locations, on August 28, 2006, in Denmark, Dec 1, 2006, in Germany, and March 11, 2008, within the U.S.
