WOLF!

A good, groove-drenched, Brooklyn-based instrumental rock and roll trio, Wolf! comprise guitarist Scott Metzger, bassist Jon Shaw, and drummer Taylor Floreth. Their audio is proclaimed by clean electric guitar tones, restricted vamping, and a strategy that showcases Metzger’s appearance from the grand Fender Telecaster rock and roll and roots custom that includes players which range from Danny Gatton and Albert Collins to Costs Frisell and Roy Buchanan. Metzger can be an in-demand program and live guitarist. He spent some time working with TriBeCaStan, Trixie Whitley, Anders Osborne, Erik Deutsch, and Marco Benevento. He produced Wolf! in 2012 to try out live schedules. The band released a digital-only five-track EP entitled Frightenin’ in 2012. They undertook a longstanding residency at Hometown BBQ in Crimson Hook, where they created a fanatical group of fans. Their self-titled debut record was documented for Royal Potato Family members, and released in 2015.
