Witching Waves

The London trio Witching Waves released their first cassette, First Tape, in 2013. Drummer/vocalist Emma Wigham, bassist Ed Shellard, and guitarist/vocalist Tag Jasper (who also assists runs Audio Savers recording studio room) concocted a noisy, energetic indie rock and roll sound powered by brutal guitars and Wigham’s enthusiastic bashing. The group following released a divide tape of addresses with fellow Londoners As Ondas, after that in past due 2014 delivered their initial record for the Soft Power label. Entitled Fear of Dropping Down, the record demonstrated much Vaselines impact and was made by Jasper at Audio Savers. The group spent another year playing displays and recording, launching only a divide cassette EP using the music group Rattle past due in 2015. In the meantime, U.S. label Happy Happy Birthday if you ask me found Witching Waves, and their following record was a co-release between them and Soft Power. Documented once again by Jasper, the tougher-sounding Crystal Cafe premiered in early 2016.
