Windsurf

Windsurf will be the duo of San Francisco-based suppliers Daniel Saxon Judd and Samuel Milton Grawe. Both collectively and individually — Grawe also information as Hatchback, while Judd, previously from the music group Contact & Response, functions by himself beneath the name Sorcerer — they may be among the principal American exponents from the internationally dispersed design of free-floating, downtempo, softly psychedelic digital music referred to as Balearic or cosmic disco. Once they each individually caught the interest of Norwegian picture innovator Prins Thomas, he asked the duo to reissue its debut, Windsurf EP (originally a 2006 digital-only launch on the LA label Sentrall), among the 1st offerings from his Internasjonal label in early 2008. Their full-length debut, Coastlines, made an appearance in November, completing a loose religious trilogy alongside Sorcerer and Hatchback’s particular debut albums, White colored Magic (2007) and Colours of sunlight (2008).
