Willie Trice

b. 10 Feb, 1910, Hillsborough, NEW YORK, USA, d. 10 Dec, 1976, Durham, NEW YORK, USA. Trice’s parents performed music and he discovered electric guitar from an uncle, but one of is own principal influences being a blues guitarist was Blind Gary Davis. In the 30s he produced a partnership along with his youthful sibling, Richard Trice, playing the ragtime-influenced blues design widespread in the Carolinas in those days. In 1937 he produced an archive, with Richard playing second electric guitar, nonetheless it can experienced little achievement as he didn’t record again before 70s. He resided his very existence in the same region, and continued to try out music. In his pension he produced some brand-new recordings, and noticed an record released quickly before his loss of life at age 66.
