Willie and the Poor Boys

With Mick Jagger and Keith Richards bickering backwards and forwards within the press through the mid-’80s (leading many to assume that the Rocks were kaput), bassist Bill Wyman made a decision to fill his newly acquired free time by forming an all-star band, Willie and the indegent Boys. The group’s root base lay within the group of high-profile 1983 Hands Concerts (which elevated cash for multiple sclerosis analysis), which resulted in many of the tour’s individuals acquiring it a stage further and setting up some tracks within the studio. One of them stellar lineup had been Wyman’s Rocks mates Ron Timber and Charlie W, in addition to Jimmy Web page, Mel Collins, Andy Fairweather Low, Kenny Jones, and Ringo Starr, amongst others, while Wyman also offered because the album’s manufacturer. The causing 1985 self-titled record was a nice enough group of 12 rock and roll & move/R&B criteria (including “Baby DO NOT Move,” which a promotional video was filmed for), but definitely not anything musically earth-shattering. A self-titled house video was also released the same season as the record, but small was noticed from the group eventually, leading many to trust that Willie and the indegent Guys was a one-off aspect project. However in 1994 (a couple of years after Wyman retired in the Rocks), Willie and the indegent Boys reappeared once again, using the 12-track Rip It Up: Live.
