William Tell

Vocalist/songwriter/guitarist William Show was created and raised in southern California. His family members had a pastime in gospel music, and his dad, a minister, trained him to try out guitar. At university, he examined music business while composing music and playing electric guitar. He became a member of the Orange State alt-rock music group Something Commercial in 2001. In Oct of that season, the group released its debut EP, Audioboxer, in the Drive-Thru label, accompanied by their major-label debut record, Leaving With the Home window, on MCA in-may 2002; the disk reached amount 101 within the Billboard 200. Their second record, North, debuted at amount 24 following its discharge in Oct 2003. Something Commercial was primarily a car for lead vocalist/pianist Andrew McMahon, who had taken almost all the songwriting credits, with Inform limited to a subsidiary function, playing electric guitar and providing history vocals. He still left the group amicably to look single in early 2004. His initial solo discharge was the track “Simply for You,” which he co-wrote with Mike Greene, and which made an appearance within the soundtrack towards the film The Sisterhood from the Touring Pants in-may 2005. On March 13, 2007, New Door Information, an imprint of Common Music, released his debut single recording, You Can Keep Me Down.
