William Souvenir

Merging the salsa of Latin America, the calypso from the Caribbean, as well as the indigenous music — like the French-influenced zouk — of Africa, William Souvenir has generated an infectious dance music. His tracks convey their text messages of political problems, personal encounters, and love despite getting sung in an assortment of Aucan, Saramaccan, Sranang, and Tongo.
