The William Pears certainly are a People from france power pop quartet including Thierry DuBois, Marc Pontet, Pierre-Gildas Perot, and drummer Eric Phelippeau; their tunes are written specifically in English. Following a five-track, small-label EP known as From a Delicious chocolate Box made an appearance in 1993, the group documented its debut record, Elephant within a China Store, in 1994 for Columbia/Sony France. In 1998, the William Pears documented their debut U.S. discharge, a self-titled affair, for Long lasting Press. Big Bang made an appearance in springtime 2001.
