Computer animation great William Hanna created together with his partner Joseph Barbera a toon empire that included The Flintstones, Yogi Keep, Jonny Goal, The Jetsons, Scooby Doo, Frankenstein Jr. as well as the Impossibles, Atom Ant, The Banana Splits, among numerous others. The duo, whose relationship lasted over 50 years, also made the kitty and mouse set, Tom and Jerry for MGM. Another Hanna-Barbera hallmark was the cartoons’ sensational soundtracks made under the guidance of Hoyt Curtin.
