William Carter

Lutenist William Carter attended Florida Condition University or college, where he studied classical acoustic guitar with Bruce Holzman, and earned his bachelor’s and master’s levels. In 1989, he journeyed to London on the Fulbright scholarship to review lute with Nigel North, and joined up with the Academy of Old Music, the Palladian Outfit, and the British Concert. He offers toured North and SOUTH USA, European countries, and Asia, and made an appearance at worldwide music festivals like a soloist and in ensemble shows. As a teacher of Baroque Research at London’s Guildhall College of Music and Crisis, Carter also shows lute. He provides documented for Linn Information.
