Grammy and Academy Award-winning songwriter Can Jennings began his Hollywood profession with 1976’s The Dedication, immediately after teaming with composer Richard Kerr to author Barry Manilow’s 1977 pop chart-topper “APPEARS LIKE We MANAGED TO GET”; 2 yrs later, Manilow came back to the very best Ten using the duo’s “Someplace in the night time.” After making his 1st Academy Award nomination for the music “People Only” from 1980’s The Competetion, Jennings collaborated with Steve Winwood for a number of songs within the singer’s acclaimed 1981 recording Arc of the Diver; they reunited the next year for Speaking Back to the night time, which produced the strike “Valerie.” In tandem with Jack port Nitzsche and Buffy Sainte-Marie, Jennings following obtained his first Oscar for “Up Where We Belong,” the Joe Cocker/Jennifer Warren blockbuster through the film An Official along with a Gentlemen; after dealing with Jimmy Buffett on 1984’s Riddles within the Sand and its own follow-up Last Mango in Paris, he reunited with Winwood for 1986’s enormously well-known Back the High Existence, making a Grammy nomination for Music of the entire year for the main smash “Higher Like.” In 1991, Jennings combined with Eric Clapton for the cathartic “Tears in Heaven,” culled through the motion picture Hurry. His biggest music, however, continues to be 1997’s Titanic theme “My Center Will CONTINUE”; created with composer Wayne Horner and sung by Celine Dion, the music gained a boatload of Oscars, Grammys, and Golden Globes coming to getting the most-played radio strike in history.
