Wildcats

Shaped in Worcester, Wildcats had been originally a three-piece comprising singers Fay Shugrue and Jeff Adams in addition to organist Donny Lavin. All three have been longtime music artists with different blues bands, however the group’s design and penchant for covering obscure tracks produced the group an excellent live work to capture. In 1998, Wildcats released its debut recording, Blue in the facial skin, and continuing touring around the brand new England region. After viewing longtime bass participant Steve Stavropoulos and previous Robin Steiger Group drummer Bob Tula perform, both music artists were put into the music group. The fuller sound and energy was captured for the band’s second launch, Live at Gilrein’s. Culled from a November 2000 efficiency in the Worcester Home of Blues, the recording features unique and cover tracks. Wildcats also have covered Kilometers Davis, Doc Pomus, and Janis Joplin, amongst others. In 2001, the music group signed to Dark Rose Information and continuing touring. IN-MAY 2002, Wildcats got into the studio for just one month to record its third record, scheduled for the late summer months 2002 discharge. During this time period, Fay Shugrue wedded Jeff Adams and became Fay Adams. Wildcats possess performed with famous brands Savoy Brown and also have been well-received in blues newspaper publications.
