Wilber Morris

Accomplished free of charge jazz bassist and bandleader Wilber Morris was created November 27, 1937, in LA, and was the older brother of cornetist Lawrence “Butch” Morris. He begun to function outside Murray’s group more regularly from the middle-’90s, using Charles Gayle, Makanda Ken McIntyre, Noah Howard, Roy Campbell, Bob Ackerman, and Thomas Borgmann, amongst others; he also founded the main one World Outfit in 1995, and the next year was an associate of pianist John Fischer’s one-off reunion of User interface.
