Widowmaker

The next band to utilize the Widowmaker name bears no relationship whatsoever to the initial British outfit that featured guitarist Ariel Bender. This American incarnation was made by vocalist Dee Snider after many years’ hiatus in the music business following break up of Twisted Sister. Signing up for Snider from the ultimate lineup of Twisted Sister is normally drummer Joe Franco, while guitarist Al Pitrelli splits his time taken between Savatage and Widowmaker. Marc Russell was changed on bass by Freddy Villano following the 1992 discharge of Bloodstream and Bullets. Another album, THE STAND BY POSITION for Pain, premiered in 1994.
