White Shoes & the Couples Company

Shaped in 2002 in Jakarta following sparks flew between students Aprilia Apsa and Yusmario Farabi while teaching in the Artwork Institute of Cikini, eclectic pop outfit White colored Boots and shoes & the Couples Firm blend sluggish, Burt Bacharach-inspired melodies with winsome indie pop to make a truly exclusive sound. Vocalist Apsa and guitarist Farabi, alongside second guitarist Saleh, bassist/cellist Ricky Sury Virgana, piano/viola participant Prawidyanti Virgana, and percussionist John Navid released the group’s self-titled debut on Minty Refreshing Records in European countries in 2004. It had been released in america with bonus paths in 2007.
