White Flag

Formed in the tiny town of Sunnymead, California, White colored Flag became a puzzling and occasional legend in punk history. The music group was created in 1982, including primary members Pat Dread, Trace Component, Doug Graves, and Un Fee. They released their self-produced debut LP S Is perfect for Space, also in 1982. The recording got rave evaluations and offered over 25,000 copies. The music group soon developed a big following, and started including users of additional punk groups within the L.A. region, many of which produced guest appearances on the 1984 LP Third Hit. The album offered a lot more than 30,000 copies. In 1987, White colored Flag released their most widely used LP, Crazy Kingdom, which also created the band’s most widely used single, “Encounter Down.” Over time, many musicians possess exceeded through the rates of White colored Flag. The band’s recordings or live shows have at once presented both Ken Stringfellow (who shows up beneath the name Kim Crimson) and Jon Auer from the Posies, Kim Shattuck and Ronnie Barnett from the Muffs, Jeff McDonald and Steve McDonald of Redd Kross, Greg Hetson from Poor Religious beliefs, Dale Crover from your Melvins, and Eric Erlandson from Gap, to name just a few. Mainly inactive through the ’90s, Light Flag released their 11th full-length Eternally Undone on Houston Party Information in 1999, the very first from the music group since 1989. Periodic touring through the 2000s included many jaunts to European countries, but another a decade passed prior to the group emerged together again to get a full-length LP, 2010’s Advantage for Felines. Pat Fear passed away from organic causes in 2013, however the band continuing with Trace Component, Jello B. Afro, and Mike Clutter.
