Whiskey Myers

Built for the Lynyrd Skynyrd Southern rock and roll template, filled with nation and blues overtones, Whiskey Myers formed in Elkhart, Tx when housemates Cody Cannon (business lead vocals and acoustic guitar) and Cody Tate (business lead guitar) began composing songs together. Quickly enlisting assistance from friend and guitarist John Jeffers, the trio started phoning themselves Lucky Southern. Relocating to Tyler, Tx, they added Jeff Hogg (drums) and Gary Dark brown (bass) towards the music group, and after a name modification to Whiskey Myers, started playing whatever gigs they may find in the East Tx area, attracting a big and enthusiastic pursuing. Putting your signature on with Smith Entertainment, the music group released a debut recording, Road of Existence, in 2008, pursuing it with Firewater around the band’s personal Wiggy Thump imprint in 2011. MORNING HOURS Shakes showed up early in 2014 and it pressed the band toward a wider viewers, reaching amount 10 on Billboard’s Nation Albums chart. 2 yrs later, they extended their viewers with Dirt, which debuted at number 4 on the united states Albums charts.
