Whilk & Misky

U.K. duo Whilk & Misky make an emotive, atmospheric make of pop that fuses their like of synthy, digital minimalism and soulful blues and folk. Created in London in 2012, Whilk & Misky feature vocalist/guitarist Charlie Dickens and digital maker/instrumentalist Nima Khaste. Ahead of meeting one another, Dickens had developed in Kent hearing a variety of traditional folk and rock and roll performers. Conversely, the Iran-born, Dubai-raised Khaste have been drawn in early stages to avant-garde electronica and icy synth-based productions.
