Biography

Like a trio that has two guys taking part in drums and acoustic guitar behind a waifish Asian bass-playing frontwoman, Wet Confetti talk about a whole lot visually and musically with Blonde Redhead. Likewise, they are a difficult music group to categorize, fitted in to the post-punk genre due to the fact they’re as well clean and fresh influx for punk and as well dirty no influx for pop. Occasionally brandishing an intense Sonic Youth sound assault, other instances flirting with breathy Ladytron dance-rock, they blur styles together to generate an angular amalgam of designs. Beginning their musical profession while in senior high school in the past due ’90s, bassist Alberta Poon and guitarist (and vocalist at that time) Dan Grazzini combined up and started producing angular post-punk recordings. Recognizing that their Mormon hometown of Orem, UT, had not been going to accept off-kilter rhythms, loud opinions, and an overt insufficient melodies, the duo loaded up and relocated to Seattle, house of Sub Pop, and Olympia, WA, house of K Information.
