Western Civ

The indie rock-band Western Civ was formed by guitarist/singer Full Henderson, bassist Jason Briggs, drummer Bryan Cabler, and guitarist Jason Hall in Muscles Shoals, AL, in 2005; Henderson, Briggs, and Cabler acquired known one another since attending senior high school jointly. They released their debut EP, Regent Kingfish Slumberpad, over the Hoosierdaddy label on November 5, 2005, and performed their initial live schedules in 2006. They self-released their debut full-length record, Remington Metal Magnolia, in 2007. That calendar year, Hall fell out being a full-time member, and the rest of the trio relocated to Chapel Hill, NC. (Hall continuing to utilize the band sometimes, as do Kemper McDowell and Ken Larson.) Mitch Easter created the second Traditional western Civ record, Shower individuals YOU LIKE with Gold, that was released March 17, 2009.
