Wes Carr

Wes Carr can be an Australian vocalist/songwriter who rose to popularity on Australian Idol in 2008 and experienced chart-topping single achievement soon afterward. Delivered on Sept 14, 1982, in Adelaide, South Australia, he started writing tracks as an adolescent and performed in some bands a long time before his appearance on Australian Idol. In 2003 he founded the music group Tambalane with Silverchair drummer Ben Gillies, who was simply on hiatus from his music group at that time. Tambalane produced its industrial debut in 2005 using a self-titled record and a few singles (“Small Miss Liar,” “Free of charge”). Gillies consequently reunited using the additional users of Silverchair, and Tambalane split up in the wake of his departure. Carr proceeded to go on a single career like a vocalist/songwriter. He debuted in 2006 using the Tempo to Travel EP and adopted in 2007 using the full-length recording Simple Amount; both had been released individually by Carr himself. In 2008 he made an appearance on the 6th time of year of Australian Idol and completed as the growing season champion. The track of his presented in the growing season finale, “You,” premiered digitally as an individual and quickly topped the Australian singles graph, knocking Female GaGa’s “Texas holdem Face” from the number one place for weekly. Riding on top of the smash strike achievement of “You,” Carr produced his full-length record debut with What sort of World Appears. The record, which he co-wrote the vast majority of the tracks, spawned the follow-up singles “FEELS AS THOUGH Woah” and “Fearless.”
