Atlanta vocalist/songwriter Wendy Bucklew was raised within the same Southern acoustic picture that popularized the Indigo Young ladies and Victoria Williams. Bucklew toured using the Indigo Young ladies throughout the South and in addition made an appearance with Donovan before launching a local record that marketed well and prompted a cope with Intersound. Painting Sidewalks premiered in 1993 and includes a cameo from Kristen Hall furthermore to Bucklew’s regular music group: Simone Simonton, Tammy Hart, DeeDee Vogt and Ashley Wilson.
