Though she was created in Hohhot, the administrative centre of Inner Mongolia, pop star Wei Wei was raised in the southwestern Chinese province of Guangxi. Young she began performing and dance, and in 1986 she could perform for the China Central Tv Spring Festival Present. The next season she earned the Sopot International Tune Celebration as the initial representative ever on her behalf country. Through the entire next couple of years Wei Wei continuing to release even more songs and be a familiar existence in China, thanks a lot partly to her starring part in the 1991 film Diva’s Tale. Three years later on, her first English-language record, The Twilight, premiered, accompanied by Wei Wei’s Devotion, a compilation recording, in 1999 (the same 12 months she relocated to Sweden to flee the popularity and paparazzi she confronted in her homeland), and Misconceptions of China and THE BRAND NEW Wei, My New Method, sung in both British and Mandarin, adopted shortly after.
