Weep

Formed in NEW YORK, Weep may be the brainchild from the artist, writer, musician, and all-around Renaissance guy Doc Hammer, among the co-creators from the cartoon series The Project Brothers, and a former person in Mors Syphilitica and Requiem in Light. Comprising Hammer (guitars/vocals), Alex Dziena (keyboards), Fred Macaraeg (bass), and Costs Kovalcik (drums), the music group combines ethereal darkwave, shoegaze, and synth pop, displaying reverence towards the noises that emerged before them without ever sense as an ironic throwback. Dark and expansive, their audio envelops the listener within a warm blanket of shimmering guitars and spacy synthesizers, placing them adrift while still preserving enough get to feel just like significant rock music. The music group released their initial EP, NEVER, in 2008 on Astro-Base Move Recordings. They implemented up this year 2010 using their full-length debut, Worn Thin, on Hammer’s previous label Projekt Information.
