We Are Vikings

Harmony-laden melodic pop straddling the line between English Invasion rock and hazy California pop, We Are Vikings created in 1999 using the conference of multi-instrumentalists Mike Scutari and Ed Donohue in the faculty city of Harrisonburg, VA. Scutari, who experienced currently released 20 albums under numerous pseudonyms and with rings such as 6th Grade Salvation as well as the Shrouded Strangers, grips a lot of the songwriting, with him and Donohue also taking part in several side projects. Getting started with the perfect from the Everly Brothers, We Are Vikings finished up blending those affects with early Bee Gees, completely indulging their overt pop sensibilities while preserving brotherly harmonies. Their debut self-titled record premiered on Sauce Information in 2000. The music group relocated to Washington, D.C., adding Marshall Costan on drums, Mike Walker on bass, and Kyle Bittinger being a vocalist/percussionist, even though still occasionally acquiring the stage simply because an acoustic duo.
