Polish UK was the union of veteran music artists Andrew Silver and Graham Gouldman, which produced many albums within the 1980s. Silver, the kid of Academy Award-winning composer Ernest Silver and Marni Nixon (who acquired handled the performing for, amongst others, Natalie Hardwood in West Aspect Story), have been an associate of Linda Ronstadt’s music group and found achievement as a single musician and songwriter within the ’70s. Gouldman have been a single artist and a person in Hotlegs and 10CC. In 1986, Polish UK released their debut, Magnetic Heaven, which spent almost three months within the U.S. recording graphs, spawning the strike “Right Between your Eye,” which simply didn’t reach the very best 40, peaking at quantity 43. Two even more albums from the duo adopted, 1987’s American British, which included the successful Western single “Bridge for your Center,” and 1989’s 100 Thousand in New Notes. The second option two records didn’t achieve sales from the debut and, by the start of the ’90s, both Platinum and Gouldman experienced shifted to other attempts; the former, within the vocalist/songwriter cooperation Bryndle; the latter, taking part in a reunion along with his 10CC mates.
