Watery Love

Bashing out blunt, distorted, and deliberately primitive hardcore punk, Watery Like certainly are a four-piece from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who show there are many bad vibes found in the town of Brotherly Like. Watery Love had been formed in ’09 2009 by vocalist and guitarist Richie Charles (ex-Clockcleaner), guitarist Utmost Milgram, bassist Dan DiMaggio (previously with House Blitz), and drummer Meg Baird (also an associate of Espers). Watery Love’s hard, cranky sound gained them a status within the Philly punk picture despite (or simply due to) their insufficient excitement for playing out of city, plus they released their debut 7″, “I’m a Skull” b/w “FOREVER Very long,” on Richie Information in ’09 2009. Word from the music group spread to Australia, as well as the Brisbane-based Detrimental Guest List Information released their second one, “New Sort of Kick” b/w “A Condom,” in 2011. The observed indie label Siltbreeze Information released Watery Love’s third work in 2013, another 7″ one featuring the music “Die with Dignity” and “Keep Me Alone.” By the finish of 2013, Meg Baird acquired left Watery Appreciate, and the music group recruited a fresh drummer, Ben Leaphart, who also performed drums with Wild birds of Maya.
