Washer

Formed in the tail-end of 2013 in Brooklyn, Mike Quigley and Kieran McShane’s Washer quickly became a staple of the brand new York D.We.Y. scene using their make of skewed, lo-fi punk. In early 2014, the duo documented their debut EP in Quigley’s parents’ cellar in Long Isle. Produced and combined by Nick Dooley and Dan Francia — from fellow labelmates Flagland — the Bighead EP premiered a couple of months down the road East Coastline Basements & Rooms Records. Carrying on with concert events throughout 2014 and assisting famous brands Sleepies, Ovlov, and Mannequin Pussy, the duo released a break up solitary with touring companions Big Ups for Exploding in Audio. 2015 noticed the pair once more partner up with Flagland’s Nick Dooley to record their debut recording, Here Shows up Washer, at Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio’s The Barn studios in Panton, Vermont. Preceded with a break up solitary with Flagland, the recording premiered in January 2016.
