Warpaint

A LA quartet working in sparse, atmospheric art rock and roll, Warpaint originally contains sisters Jenny Lee Lindberg and Shannyn Sossamon (on bass and drums, respectively), aswell as Emily Kokal and Theresa Wayman on vocal and guitar. Sossamon remaining due to issues with her performing routine and was changed by Stella Mozgawa. Having a devoted lineup, the music group began to test out murky spaciousness and stripped-down plans, and gained the interest of former Crimson Warm Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante. In ’09 2009, they self-released their debut EP, Exquisite Corpse (that was combined by Frusciante).
