Fronted by former model Doro Pesch, the German steel band Warlock contains guitarists Rudy Graf and Peter Szigeti, bassist Frank Rittel, and drummer Michael “Micha” Eurich. Originally produced in 1983, the group was intensely inspired by such fellow Western european metal clothes as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Accept, both musically and making use of their lyric/subject matter matter. The quintet released their debut record in 1984, Burning up the Witches, chasing it up with 1985’s Hellbound, 1986’s Accurate As Metal (exactly the same year Warlock performed at England’s annual mammoth steel celebration, Castle Donnington), and 1987’s Triumph and Agony. Warlock known as it quits by 1988, as Pesch released a solo profession.
