Wardog

After laying his former band, Pressure, to relax and relocating to Phoenix, AZ, in the first ’90s, speed steel veteran Tommy Gattis corralled bassist Chris Catero and drummer Ross Martinez right into a fresh project named Wardog. Their moderate, individually released debut recording of 1994 didn’t change too many mind, but their sophomore work, Scorched Globe (released by Metallic Blade 2 yrs later on), was another matter, creating the group as best purveyors of ’90s thrash metallic (as unpopular as the design was after that). After some hold off to realign their lineup (adding guitarist Paul Sullivan and fresh drummer Eric Bongiorno), another Wardog LP, entitled A Audio Beating, was released in 1999. But Gattis dropped out with others a short while later and shifted to start a fresh band known as Ballistic, even while others teamed up in Razer.
