Longtime collaborators Krister Svensson and Magnus Karnock shaped Wan Light in Stockholm, Sweden, in 2002. Piecing together a mournful, austere group of acoustic guitar-driven, synth-kissed music that nodded to serves like Loney, Dear and Music of Green Pheasant, the duo acquired its first one, “OBTAIN IT Straighter,” all set by the next year. The one generated a substantial amount of airplay within the duo’s homeland, and paved just how for the discharge of Wan Light’s debut full-length, Let’s AWAKEN SOMEPLACE ELSE, in 2004. An EP, That Grim Truth, came out immediately after, as well as the band’s second full-length record, Carmaline, hit shops in Sweden in 2005.
