Among the initial users of Johnny Thunders’ Heartbreakers, Walter Lure maintained a reasonably consistent career when confronted with dealing with some rather tumultuous character types. Following the “standard” breakup from the Heartbreakers in 1977 — the music group would continue steadily to play the casual gig till Johnny Thunders’ loss of life in 1991 — Lure caused the Ramones on the LPs Subterranean Jungle and As well Rough to Die, released an individual using the Blessed, and began several bands, like the Hurricanes, the Heroes, as well as the Waldos, who released their debut, Lease Party, in 1995.
