Wally Schnalle

Drummer-bandleader Wally Schnalle continues to be an important push in advanced jazz of north California because the mid-1990s. He graduated from San Jose Condition University, documented in early stages with Francis Wong and performed using the Nova Vista and San Jose Symphonies. In 1994 Schnalle documented his debut arranged as a innovator (for the tiny Tree Fort label) and he quickly formed a frequently working quintet even though the drummer have been leading organizations on / off since 1989. Schnalle’s quintet (including Dann Zinn on tenor and trumpeter John Worley) made an appearance in the Monterey Jazz Event, documented for Retlaw in 1997 and performed often in north California. Furthermore to his are a drummer/innovator, Schnalle continues to be the music editor for the International Drum! journal and continues to be active like a teacher.
