Walk the Moon

Spirited and quirky Cincinnati, Ohio-based indie rockers Walk the Moon shaped in the past due 2000s round the talents of Nicholas Petricca, Kevin Ray, Sean Waugaman, and Eli Maiman. After individually liberating their 2010 debut recording, I Want! I’D LIKE!, the band agreed upon on with Brooklyn-based store management firm Mick Administration and began focus on it is follow-up LP with manufacturer/mixing machine/songwriter Ben Allen at Atlanta, Georgia’s Doppler Studios. The causing sophomore outing, Walk the Moon, found its way to 2012 on RCA Information — led with the one “Anna Sunlight,” it charted in the Best 40. The next year saw the discharge from the Tightrope EP, and in Dec 2014 the music group released its third long-player, Speaking Is certainly Hard, via RCA. The anthemic one “Shut Up and Dance” reached the U.S. TOP and became a global hit. The melody also garnered a teenager Choice Honours nomination and MTV Video Music Honours nomination. Buoyed by that achievement, Walk the Moon headlined their very own tour in 2015 and capped off the entire year by executing live during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in NEW YORK. The band’s initial live album, YOU AREN’T By itself: Live on the Greek, made an appearance in 2016.
