Waldick Soriano was extremely popular within an extremely bad-tasting formula called cafona in Brazil, which later on would continue while the brega design. He also documented other albums, including Waldick Soriano Interpreta Bienvenido Granda, Rosas Perfumadas Em fun??o de Alguém, and Waldick Soriano e Seus Amigos (1998, Indie Information).
